Let the punishment fit the thoughtcrime

I remember when we first saw the Saturday Night Live skit about sexual harassment in the workplace. I actually guessed to my delight that the second male character was going to use the exact same words as the first character, but since he was attractive, it was not sexual harassment. When the checklist for avoiding a sexual harassment lawsuit came up in the end, I commented that The Danimal has apparently become an SNL writer, earning a slap on my arm. No matter, since I was already practically rolling on the floor.

Tonight's SNL episode, hosted by Steve Martin, included another skit, obviously written by the same writer, that made me similarly lose my composure. Anybody who has been reading this blog and saw that episode should immediately guess which one it was, so there is no point in explaining it any further.
