Sometimes I feel like the city is sucking away at my soul

I haven't walked on the treadmill for a few weeks now, since it is just too boring. They should invent a treadmill with a built-in DVD player or Internet terminal, or something. My wife still uses the treadmill on a daily basis, but I thought that I'd rather take a stroll outside now that the sun is setting and the outside temperature is becoming more tolerable after the warm day. I walked through a nearby area of offices set in quaint townhouse-style buildings. After enjoying the eeriely silent area, I crossed the highway to get to Wal-Mart to buy some pop and cereal. The total came to $6.66.

During the walk, I paused to admire a couple of new skyscraper condos that are nearing completion. I continued to wonder how they get the crane down from the top of the roof after the construction is complete. This task seems somewhat paradoxical and dangerous, but I guess they manage to do it somehow. If you know the answer, don't tell me, since I want to figure it out myself.

No, this picture is not taken today but a while ago on a misty morning. But I'll put it here anyway.
