Democrats say that McCain is an elitist because he has lots of money, houses, cars, aircraft carriers etc. But isn’t elitism about one’s attitude regarding the value of other people? Not to say that McCain comes off terribly well in that light either. Also, people have a hard time keeping the difference between “elite” and “elitist” straight. Being arrogant is the new being right.
